from Frontier Insurance lower parking lot
in Rock Hill, NY at
5:45pm; varying
speeds and abilities. If the weekly
workout is going to be held at an alternate location, an announcement
will be sent out by email to club members. You're
welcome to
suggest
alternate routes for Striders club

Thursday of each month, we run
from the municipal parking lot (behind TD BankNorth) in
Monticello, NY at
5:45pm. Our
monthly meeting follows the run/walk across the
street at Vino Restaurant/Bar in Monticello, NY. Any

& at the top of the hill go left on Horton Rd( right past where you
come out from the Roosa Gap Run)Take Horton Rd to stop sign & turn
left on Roosa Gap Rd. 3 1/2 miles to y in the road- bear left. At stop
sign right on Pleasant valley Rd. Follow to Rt 52(about 1 1/2 miles).
Left on 52. Go about 2 miles & left on Cragsmoor Rd. Follow signs

Grove Summer Trail Race 5K 6:00pm Samual
Morse Historic Site -2683 South Road
Poughkeepsie, New York 12601. A race to benefit Locust Grove, the
Samuel Morse Historic Site. The scenic, all-trail course winds
along carriage roads overlooking the Hudson. Fresh flowers from
the site greenhouse and gardens will be

three
runners in all men's and women's divisions. Refreshments and

marked at 1km, 1.5km (1500 meters, which is the turnaround point) and
2km. It will be at the discretion of the
spotters to warn and if necessary, disqualify someone if they deem them
to be running.

Run/Walk 9:00am Kids race at 9:45am Milford Ball Park -
Milford, PA. James C
Burns was a local scout master in Milford, PA who passed away in
2001. His family initiated this event to raise money for a scholarship
awarded each year to a deserving high school senior.
In 2007, two $1000 scholarships were given out. Since James and his son
are both veterans, there is also a contribution to The
Wounded Warrior Project. More information or to register

USATF-certified (PA 97033 WB) event. The course features a full net
elevation drop of 955'. The race starts at 8:00 a.m. at the Forest City
High School (100 Susquehanna Street, Forest City, PA 18421) and
finishes at Courthouse Square in beautiful Downtown Scranton (209 N.
Washington Avenue, Scranton, PA, 18503).

place of Tri-State which is being run on the same day after a date
change for the Tri-State 10K. This was decided by the Hudson
