Hudson Valley Classics is a new 10K Race
Mini-series: The series consists of the Kingston Classic,
Kingston, April 20, 2008 - Classic 10K Road Race, Middletown, June 8,
2008 - Monster Classic, Monticello, August 3, 2008 - Tri-State Classic,
Port Jervis, October 19, 2008.
The Hudson Valley has a vibrant running community. Many of our
local runners love racing the 10 kilometer distance, which is evidenced
by four 10K races that are “Classics”, in both substance and
name.
The year 2008 will be the inaugural year for the Hudson Valley
Classics, a 10K race mini-series. All you have to do is enter and
complete the four 10K Classic races. Following the Tri-State Classic,
medals will be awarded to runners that have completed all four
races. In addition, the fastest overall female and male runners
will receive a first place prize, determined by adding each
participant’s times from the four races. There aren’t any entry
forms or fees. Just race and we will do the rest!
